BUS MINISTRY
Lompoc Valley Baptist Church has been commanded by God to reach the people of Lompoc with the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loves everyone and gave His life that we may live forever in Heaven. We have bus routes in Lompoc, Vandeberg Village and Mission Hills. If you would like to attend any of our Sunday Morning services, please call us and we will provide transportation to and from the church at no cost. Because most of our riders are children, the Bus ministry has an exciting program consisting of Bible Lessons, refreshments, activities, competitions that are geared towards them. MISSIONS
Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." The goal of Lompoc Valley Baptist Church is not only to reach the citizens of Lompoc, but to reach the whole world with the "good news" that Jesus Christ, the God of all creation, died and rose again to save us all from sin and its consequence. Lompoc Valley Baptist Church currently supports thirty six missionaries worldwide and that number increases as the years go by.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
In an effort to spread the gospel, and make known the name of the Lord JESUS CHRIST, our church hosts multiple community events throughout the year. Here is a small list of these events: Vacation Bible School, Church in the Park, First Responders Day, Family Fair Sunday. We also make reach out and assist agencies such as the Pregnancy Support Center and the Bridgehouse homeless shelter.
